Ed Cara is a New York City based comedian, and day job holder. In his spare time, he's also a writer of words, primarily dealing with the intersection of science and social justice to day-to-day life. Previously, Ed has contributed to The 21st Floor, a science and scepticism site based out of Scotland and maintained his own personal blog, The Demon Haunted World. Ed believes that science communication doesn't necessarily need to be left up to the PhD's of the world, only to engaging and entertaining writers who can easily, but accurately, distill down the importance of rational thought to the greater public. He also has an irrational love of pugs.
